A little life (wooow)

Kay took the plates and was going to get dessert. The next thing that was heard was glass shattering on the floor.

"Arron!" She shouted.

Landon and Bradly jumped out of their seats at the sound.

Arron jumped out of his chair when he heard the plate smashed, and by the time she finnished shouting his name was in the kitchen.
"Kay?!"
Katey looked scared.

Kay was on her knees picking up the glass when he came in, "I think something is wrong..." She said, cringing with each new pain that overtook her. She dropped what she'd already picked up and started crying.
"Don't let Katey or Bradly in..." She said when she saw Landon come. He worked on picking up the glass, worried about his cousin.

Katey frowned when she heard this. Whenever adults didn't want children around it was bad, she headed for the kitchen.

Arron frowned, and picked up his car keys off the sink.
"There's a hospital not too far from here." He handed the car keys to Landon. "Go start the car, I'll bring Kay in a minuet." He then he turned to Kay, and picked her up carefully.

Landon nodded and ran out the door, "Stay here!" He called to the kids as he dashed to the car to go start it.

Kay closed her eyes and avoided speaking for several reasons. She was so afraid that she'd messed up something, she had no idea why this was happening. "It's too soon..." She whispered to him.

Bradly wrapped his arms around Katey, "Everything will be okay, Katey."

Katey started to cry. "But... But...." She stammered.

"I'm sure everything will be fine. Just hold on to me okay." He hugged her lightly, and carried her out to the car.

Kay got into the front seat after being put down and laid it back. Still crying she closed her eyes and waited to go.

"Call us and tell us how it goes." Landon said in worry, "I'll take good care of Katey for you."

"They're going to the hospital!" She finnished, and hugged Bradly tightly, crying uncontrollably into his shirt. She didn't want the baby or Kay to die. Which is what she was afraid of.

"Okay." Was all Arron said before driving off.

Landon now had to find a way to keep the kids occupied while Arron and Kay were gone. He went inside finding Katey crying and Bradly trying to comfort her to his best ability.

"I went to a hospital once, and when I came home I felt all better." He told her in a nice voice, "Maybe they will go and bring home the baby?"

"But but.... He's not supposed to come for two more months..." She stammered out through tears, she started to hiccup. She didn't let go of him, and didn't see Landon come in.

Arron drove down a bumpy road trying his hardest not to hit any of the bumps. Failing at least ten times before they got to the hospital.

-Hours later-

Landon had the kids watching movies even though they seemed very sad and nervous for the most part. He continued to watch the phone hoping to get some news soon on what was going on. Finally, after what seemed like forever the phone finally rang!

He handed it to Katey though, suspecting that it was probably Arron.

Katey answered it. "Hello?"
"Katey?"
"Yeah...."
"This is Arron."
"I know that. What's going on?!"
"Well.... Kay had her baby.... I guess we were wrong about the date-"
"SO?! IS EVERYONE OKAY?!" She asked loud and exasperated.
"Yeah."
"Okay. Good."
"The baby's a boy..."
"DUH yeah! We knew that!"
"Not necessarily."
"Well I knew it." She muttered, she was a bit cranky, because she had a head ache from crying, and was tired. "Can I talk to Kay?! She's better than you at talking."
"Kay's kind of tired...." He protested, looking at Kay, and the baby.

Kay reached out a hand for the phone, "I can talk, Arron. I'm not completely tired yet." She said in protest.

Both Bradly and Landon were waiting anxiously to hear the good news, Katey seemed happy! Landon put it on speaker so he could hear.

Arron frowned but relented. "Okay Katey. Kay says she'll talk. But I say not for a long time okay?"
"Okay okay! Just give her the phone already!"
Arron frowned again, and handed Kay the phone.

"Hi Katey!" Kay exclaimed in a tired sounding voice, as perky as she sounded usually this was a new tired. She was ready to rest but wanted to speak to everyone. "How are you, sweetie?" She asked.

Landon and Bradly were listening, just because...
