A little life (wooow)

Arron frowned, he gave up trying to figure out what to say to Kay. Just because he sat here wasn't going to change anything. He got to his feet and headed down the stairs.
"Hey." He said.
"Kay's sick" Said Katey frowning still.
"What?!" Arron went quickly over to Kay. "Are you okay?" He asked hugging her. "Whats wrong?"

"My stomach is upset right now...it's not a big deal." Kay replied as she chopped up some onion. The more she looked at it the more she felt worse. Food was something she didn't want to think about.

Arron frowned. "I can do that...." He said "You should sit down."
Katey nodded emphatically though both of they're backs were turned to her.

Kay didn't hesitate to walk away, she nearly ran as a matter of fact. She hated to leave that kind of stuff to him because she loved to cook and make things for her little family.

This caused Arron to frown more. She hadn't protested at all. Something was defenately wrong. He picked up the knife, and finnished what she had started.
Katey hugged Kay. "I'm sorry you don't feel good..." She said, she had put the game away already. "Can I help somehow?"

"Um...I don't think so. I just need a bit of a nap and I'll be as good as new." Kay gave a grin though she really didn't keep it for long. She fell asleep. She only hoped that she could talk to Arron later.

Arron finnished making the snack, and put it on the table. That's when Katey came in.
"She's sleeping..."
"Oh." Arron said, and pointed at the snack.
Katey frowned, but sat down to eat.
He walked into the living room. Marshmallow had curled up in her lap, he gently removed the cat, and replaced him with a blanket.

Unexpectedly, Kay's voice came before he could leave.
"She told you didn't she?" She asked, looking up at him with curiosity.

He nodded. "Yeah." He turned back around to face her. "She told me."

Katey went to her room and took Marshmallow with her.

Kay brought her knees to her chin, "I'm sorry." She said, tears rolling visibly down her cheeks, "I can't take it back now..." Her chin quivered as she really started to cry.

"What? No I wouldn't want you to. I'm not upset about it." He came closer and held her face lightly in his hands, wiping away her tears with his thumbs. He kissed her gently. "I love you. And I'll love the baby too."

Kay hugged him gently and rested her head on his shoulder, "I'm so glad! Really glad!" She cried joyfully, "I was so scared you'd hate me." She pulled back and smiled at him, playing with his hair a little.

He shook his head at her. "That could never happen." He said smiling a bit, his cheeks were slightly pink.

Kay giggled, "I'm glad to know that." She gave him a kiss and laid back again, finally able to take her nap.

Arron backed up and smiled, sitting on the couch to watch her sleep. Chocolate came down and sat on his lap.

-Some months later-

"Rooms clean, kitchen is clean. Good!" Kay was finishing dusting. Landon would be there any minute with Bradly and they were going to just have fun together. Of course, Kay planned on going out to do some gardening but it was hard to even lift a finger recently. Not that she didn't want to. Eventually 'rules' had been set out and she had to rest more than work.

-Lots of days later. -

Katey was restless. "When will they be here?!" She asked for the thousandth time.
It had been forever sense she saw Bradly, or Landon for that matter. But longer for Bradly.
"Should you be dusting?" Arron asked frowing, as he came in after putting away the last of the dishes.
"Yeah sure why not? Dusting isn't so hard." Said Katey. "Don't be so over protective. You'll sophacate her. When will Bradly be here?!"

Kay looked at him with irritation.
"Oh the long list of things my doctor said I couldn't do, Arron! Skydiving, horseback riding, skiing, water skiing, ice skating, track running, log rolling, drinking coffee, roller coasters...should I go on? Wait, dusting wasn't on the list!" Then she turned her attention to Katey, "Any minute now, sweetie! Be patient, okay?"

"I'm not good at patient. Ask my doctors. They'll probably agree with me." She sighed, and kicked at the bottom of the chair she was sitting on. Staring at the door as if it was it's fault that they weren't here yet. Then she jumped up.
"I'm gonna wait on the porch." She said and walked outside.
"Sorry...." Said Arron. "I-" He stopped. "Just sorry."
He sighed and flopped down in a chair, he was not good at this. He was always making her mad. Or even worse making her cry.

"Don't worry about it, Arron." Kay smiled, "Just two more months of this and we'll be out of this routine of 'remind you every day of every month'." She kissed him and finished up the dusting before putting away her cleaning tools.

Landon and Bradly walked up the driveway talking before they noticed Katey.
"Hi Katey!" Landon called.
Bradly ran up and grinned at her, "WE'RE HERE!" He shouted.

"BRADLY! Your guys are slow!" She said running off the porch in her bare feet and out to them. "Landon you should get here faster!" She smiled and hugged each of them in turn. "Arron and Kay are having a baby!" She announced. "Come on Bradly! You have to meet Marshmallow!" She grabbed his hand and pulled on him, though she couldn't actually move him.

"Yeah. Two more months." He said, he smiled at her. Then looked at the window. "Did you hear an excited burst of energy?" He laughed and stood up. "I'll guess that Bradly and Landon are here."

Landon laughed, "Sorry, traffic was murder and there was this big old fallen tree and they had to make a detour." He explained as they entered the house, he knew that Kay was due in two months, but he hadn't seen her in a long time so he expected that she'd look different.

"Landon! Bradly!" Kay exclaimed, hugging her cousin in excitement, "Sorry about the mess." She apologized, which was strange...she'd just cleaned the house from top to bottom.

Katey looked confused. "What mess?"
Arron just shook his head at the little girl.
"Hey Landon, Bradly." He said walking up next to Kay.
"Arron where's Marshmallow?!" Katey suddenly burst out.
"Umm... Last I saw him was in your room."
"Oh okay! Come on Bradly!" She said tugging on his arm again.

Bradly stumbled but got his footing and followed her to her room.

Kay seemed bouncy and excited, "I'm making a big dinner, so you can relax, it'll be done soon!"

Landon stopped her, "Wait, let me look at you. Why do you have to change over night?" He asked with a chuckle, wondering why she always had to dash off before he could properly converse with her.

"I wouldn't have if I wasn't expecting a baby in two months. Now either you can help me in the kitchen or sit down and talk with Arron. Your choice."

Arron frowned. "I'm helping you." He protested.


Katey pulled Bradly into the room. Only letting go of him to grab up Marshmallow who was busy transcending from the window sill to her bed.
