In the 'Future' XP

Samantha groaned, "Uh...I might later...I'm feeling really tired right now." She yawned a little and sat down briefly, she'd been in and out of sick lately and was trying to feel better.

"Oh... Okay." said Samuel, and floated to the ceiling looking down at everyone silently. Max sat down next to Samantha. "You okay?" he asked her quietly. Clara sat on the floor setting down Jade, and holding Jeremy so he wouldn't cause a fuss.

"My stomach is just a bit upset...it's normal though don't worry. I'm not up for chess though so I might lay down really soon." She said leaning her head tiredly on his shoulder.

Max placed his head ontop of hers. "Okay... That's a good idea, be careful okay?" He said squeezing her hand.


Mathew came and picked up Jade sitting next to Clara.

Samantha nodded and left the room after hugging him, she was being really good about this and being extra careful too. She waved to him with a weary smile and walked off.

Max waived back and looked at Clara, or rather Jeremy, and then at Jade. He stood up. "Well... I'd better go..." He said quietly, and left. Clara looked at Mathew, and leaned against him.

-Three Days Later-

Samantha was at her desk doing some studying so she could find a cure to yet another disease. She knew she was close to finding something yet so far at the same time.

-approximately 72 hours later-

Max was doing his weekly round of checking all the security camera's and replacing the ones that were broken.

The twins were sleeping, and Clara was sitting on a couch watching Mathew loose at chess to Samuel's cat. Samuel was watching and laughing.

Samantha got up from her chair and went over to the bed on the other side of the room, laying down on it with a sigh. She was so tired. So much that she could not focus on anything that she was studying.

Max finished his rounds and smiled, heading out of the last building he had been checking, and into town.

Samuel laughed, as the cat beat him for a third time. "GO TABBY!" He shouted and tossed the cat in the air, flying up after it, and holding it in his lap. The cat only licked it's fur down. Clara had given up telling him to be nicer to his cat, especially sense the cat didn't seam to care. Mathew groaned. "I've been beaten, again, by a cat!" he said walking over to Clara and giving her a kiss.

Samantha dozed off briefly but jolted awake when she remembered that she had a lot of work to do. As soon as she sat down however her head flopped down and landed on the desk, she was asleep again instantly.

Clara smiled at him. "Just give it up, you'll never beat either of them." Mathew laughed. "Thanks for the vote of confidence." He laughed. Then Jeremy began to cry, and Clara stood up. "I'll get them." Said Mathew smiling at her, and making her sit down again. "I'm not made of glass!" She protested. "I can-" But Mathew had already gone. She sighed, and shook her head, leaning back into the couch.

Samantha woke up again and looked towards the door. Max still hadn't come by and she was starting to feel neglected. With a sigh she stood up and paced the room trying to stay awake and hoping that Max would come.
Why isn't he here? She thought sadly.

About an hour later max came back with a box, a big box. Then headed for the lab.

Mathew came back with the twins. Jade's hair had grown longer and she had almost shoulder length curls, her brother's hair however was still the same length. "Here hand me Jeremy." Said Clara reaching out her arms, and Mathew did as he was told, sitting down next to her.

Samantha was on the treadmill in the back trying to take her mind off the fact that Max wasn't there, she was also trying to exercise even though she knew she wasn't going to stay as skinny as she was at that moment. She looked down and could just barely see a bump through the trim-fit shirt she was wearing. So much for getting my figure back after this. She got back on the treadmill and made it go a bit faster.

Max came into the lab, hearing the treadmill running he ran to the back to see who was on it. Sure enough it was Samantha. "Sam!" He said with surprise dropping the box on a table, causing whatever was in it to squeak. "What are you doing?" He walked over to her, and slowed down the treadmill, before stopping it all together so as not to trip her with a sudden change. He pulled her off the tread mill into a hug. "Don't do that!" He kissed her. "You scared me half to death. If your going to use that thing now, at least use it at a reasonable speed." He said not letting go.

Samantha frowned, "Max why are you panicking? There's nothing wrong with me getting some exercise is there?" She tilted her head to the side just a little bit looking slightly sad about his attitude.

"Sam too much exercise is bad for the baby... Also any kind of strenuous exercise such as running." He said hugging her a little more tightly.

Clara smiled at the twins, Jeremy was yanking on Jades hair. She was calmly pushing his hand away, Mathew intervened and carefully removed Jeremy's hand from her hair.

Samantha sighed, "Okay...so where have you been? If you'd been here I wouldn't have decided to get some exercise." She raised her brows and tilted her head again wondering what he was hiding.

"I went to get you something. But if I had known that you'd do this because of it, I wouldn't have gone." He said with a hurt look, he released her.

Samuel floated upside down in front of the kids, he had stopped dyeing his hair so now it was blond, it's original color. instead of the blue it usually was. "Hello!" He said smiling at Jade who greeted him with a smile of her own. Jeremy did the same, and yanked on his hair.

OOC: Gosh Max she just went running. XD He's so dramatic. XD

Samantha groaned, "Oh come on! I didn't go out and get drunk! Now stop being like that, what were you up to today?" She asked him putting her hands on her hips.

Max sighed, and let the subject drop. "It's on the table." he said shaking his head.

Samuel laughed. "Ouch. You know that hurts right?" He dropped the upside down cat on the ground, she landed on her feet, and removed his little brothers hands from his hair, and laughed again.

Samantha walked over to the table and opened the box pulling out a little bunny, it had a little pink bow around it's neck.
"Max! This is so sweet!" She exclaimed.

"Glad you like it." He said smiling. "Be right back." He left and came back a minuet later with a cage and some other necessary things for taking care of the rabbit.

Samantha was glad for this, she sat down and got to work putting her rabbits cage together with excitement.
"I'm going to call her Lulu, she's just the sweetest bunny I've ever seen!" She exclaimed.
