Random RP for me and Cricket

Shayne flew into the break room, running from a paranoid schizophrenic. The woman was reciting numerous conspiracy theories to him as he literally, RAN from her. "Ma'am! Please, go home! You're not allowed in here!!!"

"And THAT'S why I do so believe the government has it in for bullfrogs!!"

Tammy woke up with a start and shook her head, wondering what on earth was going on. She felt sick to her stomach a little and moaned laying back down on the couch in there. "Shuddup..." She muttered.

Shayne tripped over a rug, and went crashing to the floor. The woman ran up to him, sat down beside him, and began telling him why she thought rabbits were assassins trained by the government to kill anyone, and everyone, and the bunny in Monty Python and the Holy Grail was an actual trained killer caught on tape.

Tammy opened her eyes and sat up, "UGH! Go away!" She screamed suddenly feeling angry, she quickly tried to quell it off remembering clearly what happened last time she threw a fit.

Shayne sighed, and was trying to explain to the woman that she needed to leave when finally, security came and took her away. He then sprawled out on the breakroom floor, and sighed. "Sorry Tammy."

"Mhm...it's okay. I'm having some cramps right now and it's making me feel irritable but it's nothing serious." Tammy smiled warmly to him and stood up, "Is it time to go home yet?"

Shayne smiled. "YES! IT IS!" He would simply DIE if another 'pink one' came into his room again that day.

Tammy hugged him, "Good...if I hear another woman scream or a baby cry or something I think I'll lose my mind...if it was ours it would be another story." She kind of laughed. She wouldn't let her job put a damper on her wanting to be a mother. Of course she couldn't help but have some bad feelings about it...it wasn't exactly planned out.

Shayne laughed, and got up, grunting against the soreness of his legs. He pretty much ran two miles around the building from that woman before ending up in the break room.

"Shayne...can I talk to you about something real quick?" Tammy was saying this as they were leaving this, her eyes were down cast and she seemed to be in deep thought.

Shayne looked over at her, and nodded. "Of course... I'll always listen."

"I...I'm really not okay with being pregnant...I mean it's not exactly easy and I don't feel right admitting it and...not being married yet." Tammy gulped nervously, she really didn't want to hurt him, "We're still together I'm just admitting my feelings."

Shayne nodded, he figured as much. "Okay..." He was quiet a moment, as if in thought. Suddenly, he took her hand, gently squeezing it. "So, what do you want to do? I won't force this on you... if you want an abortion, I'll support you." He was dead serious... he just wanted her happy. Sure, it'd nearly kill him to abort the baby, but he didn't want to force a pregnancy on her because of his stupid decision.

"Ugh! Heck no! You know how much I love children Shayne! And besides this pregnancy is a real miracle to me too...I mean...I was told almost a year ago that it would be impossible for me to carry a baby full term...I've come so far." Tammy looked really sad, "I'm just scared."

Shayne nodded solemnly. "I'm scared too... actually, I had the bad mumps when I was young. I shouldn't even be able to conceive a child... I guess it's a miracle to us both."

Tammy frowned, "Maybe there is a reason for this then...God could have something planned." She told him holding both of his hands, but she was still nervous, wondering if it was real.

"Maybe so... that would be nice... wouldn't it?" He smiled a bit, and kissed her tenderly. "Whatever you decide, I'll always support you... you know that, right?"

Tammy nodded, "Yes...I know." She smiled warmly at him and hugged him tight.

---A few months later---

Tammy walked into the hospital early one morning. Not for work however this was for her. She sighed irately seeing as she was getting an ultrasound, she hadn't wanted to earlier on because she had to admit it but she could care less. Now she was being pressured to know if the baby was a boy or a girl.

Shayne followed her silently. He really didn't want her to go all ballistic on him and have another seizure. That'd be bad...

Tammy got in there and laid down while some person she barely knew worked on her.

"There it is! Fingers, toes and all of that. Want to know what it is?" The woman asked.

Tammy didn't respond, she only nodded and looked over. She could tell herself but decided to let the woman have her fun.

Shayne waited patiently, and tried not to say anything. Speaking, would remind her he existed, and if she remembered he existed, she might go all mood swing on him.

"It's a girl, congrats."

Tammy's head turned at the words and she looked at the screen, "A girl?" She asked almost oblivious but feeling excitement, "Really?"

"Yup, a delicate little girl..." The woman smiled.

Shayne's eyes widened huge, and he gasped. This means... I get a girl to pamper and spoil... He smiled, despite himself. "This is amazing..."

The woman printed a picture and turned it off after cleaning Tammy up.

They sat there in silence for a while, "I can't believe this...for the first time I'm thrilled."

Shayne smiled, "Good... happy is good!"
