Random RP for me and Cricket

Tammy seemed to be in a slight daze as she looked at the picture, "It really exists...I mean she's in there..." She looked like she was about to cry.

Shayne raised an eyebrow. "What, you thought you had some malignant tumor or something?" He hugged her, and looked at the picture with her. "She's going to be beautiful! If she's lucky, she'll get her mom''s genes... her daddy ain't that pretty."

OOC: Yes, I did just use 'ain't'.... >.>

Tammy laughed, "No...for a while I thought of it as some bump but now I see it..." She laughed a little at his comment and glared at the word 'ain't'.

Shayne stared back. "I'm sorry!! I grew up in the south! I know I don't have ab accent, but the words still slip sometimes..." He smirked. "And besides, it's in the dictionary."

Tammy sat at the edge of the bed, "Don't we have something better to talk about?" She asked handing him the picture, her eyes welled up with joyful tears.

Shayne laughed. "Like... our beautiful daughter you're carrying?" He kissed her on her cheek.

Tammy only giggled as she leaned back on the bed briefly, "It feels weird to say this but...I'm fine with it now. A little girl and she's healthy too! I can't wait!" She kissed him and sat up again before fixing the wrinkles in her shirt.

Shayne chuckled. "Yup, and as I said before, she'll be beautiful like her mother!"

"And she'll succeed at everything and be a straight A student and one day become a lawyer or a surgeon!" Tammy looked really excited now.

Shayne raised an eyebrow at her comment. "What if she doesn't want to go into law, or the medical field?" He was laughing though... he thought her comment was funny.

"I don't know, I just don't want her to...do something boring." Tammy shrugged.

He laughed. "Who knows? She could have a beautiful voice and become a rock star!!"

"Maybe..." Tammy got off the bed and sighed, "I may as well check on some patients while I'm here."

Shayne shook his head. "No, you're still recovering! That's why we have another maternity doctor! For when the head maternity doctor is gone!"

"Recovering from what? I just got an ultrasound..." Tammy sort of laughed at him, but obeyed and sat down.

"I don't know.... but you're recovering from something..." He laughed with a funny look on his face.

"Oh...well...maybe I do need to rest a little, I'm pretty far along and things do get tiring..." Tammy replied taking his weird words into consideration.

Shayne smiled, and gave her a kiss. "I do love you... so much!"

"I love you too...is it okay if I check patients now though? I'm kinda bored..." Tammy woke up immediately from her half tired state.

Shayne sighed, and stepped aside. "I guess so..... I need to get to work anyway."

"I'm sorry did I hurt your feelings?" Tammy asked as she stood up.

Shayne smiled. "No, you just reminded me of work... I was trying to put it off as long as possible!" He chuckled a bit as he stared into her eyes... she was so beautiful.

"I guess I'll see you later then..." Tammy kissed him and walked away...sorta.

Shayne nodded, and left the room as soon as Tammy cleared it which took a bit, then headed to the ER.

And not even five minutes later Tammy could be heard at yelling at the plastic surgeon to stop staring at her bottom, then a slap was heard and some stomping.
