Random RP for me and Cricket

Through those few moments Robert was sobbing because he couldn't find a pulse through giving CPR. But when she coughed up water he stared down and his sobs intensified as he found relief.
"Kirah!" He sobbed, lifting her into his strong arms, he held her close and rocked her gently, "I thought I lost you..." He sobbed.

Kirah hugged him back, crying too. She had so many emotions, and all of them escaped at once. "It wasn't my time..." She whispered softly to no one in particular. "He said it wasn't my time..." She buried her face in his chest, and curled up into his embrace, trembling through the trauma she had just been through.

Robert didn't care if he was holding her soaking wet in a towel, he was just happy that she was alive, "I wasn't ready to lose you...I wouldn't have been able to bear it." He cried rocking her back and forth as he held her tightly.
A few minutes later he helped her get into some pajamas after drying her off, then he got her some soda to drink to bring her sugar levels back up.

Kirah sat on the couch, thinking about her vision. Part of her said it could have been something her brain made up in desperation, but more of her knew it was real. She knew deep down in her heart that she had actually, almost been to Heaven. Suddenly, she turned and kissed Robert full on the mouth... she was so happy to have him. She then pulled away, and not even half a second later, she wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. "I'm so lucky to have you..."

Robert looked kind of tired and strung out but happy anyway. "I'm happy to have you too." He whispered while holding her close. Until she got her full strength back he was holding the glass for her and gave her a bendy straw as well to use.

"I love you more than anything on this earth... have I ever told you that?" She was still a little shaken... she felt so mortal now. She didn't want to let go of him... ever.

"No I don't think you've said it that way..." He brought the drink to her mouth again, "You need as much sugar as you can get okay?" He whispered as he continued to hold her close, he was worried more and more about her health now. He kept thinking back to the day Jamie had collapsed only he had to rush her to the hospital in that case. He didn't want to lose Kirah like that.

Kirah complied, and sipped a little more out of the straw, and curled up close to him again. Kirah kissed him again, and hugged him tight. "I feel so... vulnerable now." Then she remembered: "I never ate yesterday..." Just then, she realized her stomach was gnawing on her backbone. "I probably couldn't eat much right now anyway... my nerves are so out-of whack..."

"That's why you are drinking this. You're body needs something to go off of for now until everything is ready to get back into shape again. You hit your head too so you'll probably be weak for a while. Just rest okay?" Robert held her close and protectively, still holding the glass for her.

Kirah nodded, and her eyes began to feel heavy. They forced themselves shut, and she finally fell asleep, her arms wrapped around him in a hug.

Robert put the glass on the table next to him and held her close. He planned on taking a couple days off until she was in perfect health again.

Kirah actually began to snore softly due to the position her head was in. Her face was smushed against his chest, so her cheek nearly covered her left eye... it was actually kind of cute..

-A couple days later-

Robert was still taking care of Kirah, he was now making her something to eat since he figured she was ready for something. So he thought a good start would be pancakes since it was sugary. He needed to go to work that day but he was a little late so he could make sure she would be okay alone for a while.

Kirah dragged into the kitchen, her eyes barely open. She walked over, and wrapped him in a sleepy hug, and smiled a little. She hadn't been getting very good sleep lately for whatever the reason, and it was really starting to effect her. "Morning..."

Robert smiled, "Good morning." He kissed her and helped her to a chair to sit down in, "I don't think I should go to work today, you really don't look good at all." He commented as he sat the plate down in front of her, the pancakes were smiling.

Kirah let out a dry chuckle at the smiling pancakes staring back at her. "No, you've been out enough on account of me... go ahead and go, I'll be fine!" She forced a wayward smile, and even though she was so tired, her eyes sparkled like they used to. She was coming back... even if she was a little slow about it.

Robert frowned, "No...I'm going to wait until you are back on your feet okay?" He said with a smile as he gave her a kiss, he was there for her all the way.

Kirah kissed him back fully. Forget the pancakes, she was hungry for looooove... then her stomach rumbled loudly. Maybe not. She pulled away, and blushed a little. "I guess I'm a lot hungrier than I thought I was..."

"Your body has been living off of soda for the past couple days, time to try and eat something hard now." Robert said as he sat down and munched on some bacon.

Kirah grimaced. She was so hungry, that she felt like if she tried to swallow anything, she'd just throw it all back up! Still, she knew she had to try. She cut a piece of the pancake off with her fork, stabbed it, and ate it. She nearly died... it was SO good! She ate another, and another, and another. Soon, she was eating up all the bacon too. I feel like a heifer... but I don't really care for some reason!

"Don't eat too fast or your body will reject it!" Robert exclaimed, he'd been through that before, it wasn't pretty.

At that, Kirah set her fork down, and stared at him. Then, she busted out laughing... that was more like her. She was just a block of ice that needed thawing to reveal the rose underneath. "I feel so much better now... thank you! Those pancakes were AWESOME!" She gave him a thumbs up, and smiled big... her nose was a little pink, giving her a slightly drunk look.

"You're welcome." Robert said with a weary smile, he really wasn't sure what to think.

Kirah smiled, and got up to put her dishes up. She went to the sink to get the water warm, and swayed side to side happily. She was... hyper... and singing a country song. "I was twenty and she was eighteen we were just about as wild as we were green in the ways of the world..."

Robert sighed, "I'm going to work then...see you later." He smiled and left after that not saying much else. He was glad she was okay but he was still worried deep down.
