Random RP for me and Cricket

Kirah stared after him. She hated to see him go, but she also didn't want to keep him from working. She sighed, and cleaned up the table and the rest of the kitchen. She had a bit of a headache, but just ignored it.. it wasn't too bad.

Robert drove to work in silence hoping she'd be okay...sugar rushes always had a bad aftertaste. Meaning they always ended badly.

Kirah finished the kitchen, and went to rest on the couch... she was so tired already. Sugar rushes always had bad crashes. As soon as she hit the couch, she was out like a light. Her last thought before sleep overtook her was: I love him so much, I never want to lose him.

Robert came home later that day to find her sleeping, he knew that sugar rush would knock her out but at leas she was better. He hung the keys on the rack on the wall and walked over to her with a smile before going to get dinner started.

Kira slept soundly for a little while longer, before rolling a little, and falling off the couch to hit the floor with a thud. She was now tangled in the blanket she had draped over her, and grunted before falling asleep again... not even caring that she was laying on the floor.

Something had happened that day at work and Robert was slightly stressed out over it. His head was hurting so badly but he didn't want to wake up Kirah so he continued to cook dinner. He made them each plates and sat there unable to eat because he felt like his head could explode at any second. He finally rested on the table, body shaking with each wave of pain that came over him. And suddenly he passed out, his nose was bleeding all over the arm of his shirt were he'd rested his head there.

Kirah woke up minutes later. She untangled herself from the blanket, and got up slowly, trying not to make herself dizzy from getting up too fast. Smelling dinner, but hearing nothing, she walked to the kitchen and didn't immediately see Robert. Then, she turned to see him at the table, head resting on his arms. She approached him, and laid a soft hand on his shoulder. "Robert.." She said soft and sweet with a bit of a smile. When he didn't respond, she shook him a little. "Robert, sweetie... this isn't funny... wake up!"

Robert didn't move, it would take a minute to notice but the sleeve of his shirt was quickly getting covered in blood seeing as his nose was still bleeding. He was breathing just fine but seemed to have a pained expression on his face even in his unconscious state.

Kirah looked at his sleeve, and gasped. She pulled his head up, and forced him into a real sitting position. His face was covered in blood from the nosebleed. She ran off to get a wet rag and a towel. She washed his face off with the rag, and dried him with the towel. His nose was still bleeding, but at least now it wasn't all over his face. He must've had another migraine... oh... why didn't he wake me?! "Robert, Honey wake up!!" She shook him a little more, still dabbing at his nose with the towel.

Robert woke up, he was dizzy from blood loss but didn't seem to be damaged any worse than that. "Kirah...you should be...resting..." he said, instead of thinking of himself he was thinking of her, it was so weird how he could look beyond everything that was happening and think about her first.

Kirah kissed him full on the mouth, then drew away. She wiped the blood off of herself, then went back to tending to him. She simply smiled at his comment, and winked. "No rest for the one who puts their true love above themselves... I wish you had told me, I could've helped!" She seemed a bit disappointed that he didn't wake her up to help him... though she did recognize why he didn't.

"You were in such a deep sleep, I didn't think I'd be able to get you up anyway..." Robert felt like he could collapse but he didn't, he just closed his eyes and hoped the headache would go away soon.

Kirah sighed, "I'm sure I would have woken for you... though maybe only you." She moved behind him, and began to massage his shoulders, and fussed at him a bit for being too tense. Then, she worked her way up to his neck, and then to his skull, humming Drops of Jupiter. She did her magical migraine release exercise, and then went back to massaging his shoulders. She figured that since he did everything for her before she could even process it to say no, she would do this for him. She loved to touch him anyway, so she really didn't mind it.

Robert relaxed and fought to keep his eyes open, "That new guy they hired hates me, he practically tore the lab to the ground because he wouldn't listen to me...I had to clean up the whole thing so I got home a bit late. That explains the migraine." He told her slurring just a little, it was that bad.

Kirah sighed, "I'm sorry... I'll wreck his computer tomorrow... that's when I start back!" She slid her arms around his neck, and hugged him from behind. "You're really amazing... I'm sorry that they hired an idiot that's so blind he can't see that. I mean, it's glaringly obvious!" She kissed his neck, and hugged him again. She loved him so much, and hated to see him so stressed.

"What I hate is being his boss and they won't let me fire him! They keep telling me to let him off with a warning and-" He cut himself off and groaned as his headache came back full force, just remembering made him stress out.

Kirah sighed, and started his massage and pressure points again. "Sweetie, don't stress out about it, okay?" She ran her index finger up his spine on his neck gently. "Besides, I have to work in there too... they called today and said my first job was to install a bunch of software on the computers... starting with lab. If I have to be in there, I'm not dealing with his attitude." And if she had to, she'd go to the office manager... he liked her, and truth be told, she was there best programmer. If the man got in the way of her work, he'd be at the least sent to their boss's office.

Robert was breathing heavily as if trying to quell off any bad feelings he had, "When you finish can I get some candles lit or something? Jamie had this decorated box full of them and I never got rid of those because they were kind of soothing...I'll heat your dinner up for you after that..." He said shakily.

"Yeah, I'll get them... I think I saw them awhile back." She kissed him again softly on the lips. "I'll heat it up... I just was you to chill. And remember... I love you more than anything on this earth." With that, she grabbed her plate, put it in the microwave, and walked off to find the candles.

Robert still felt weak from blood loss but it wasn't as bad as when he woke up, "Thanks." He whispered to her, he felt bad like he was pushing her around, but he knew he wasn't...he was just used to doing things for himself.

Kirah came back moments later with a light skip in her step, she set the candles on the table, and set them upright. Then, she lit them and retrieved her dinner, setting it on the table as well. "You're right... those candles are kind of soothing..." She smiled a little, and ate her food silently, watching Robert like a hawk. if he so much as winced she'd be right back at his side, massaging his shoulders again.

Robert ate his dinner but his appetite was almost gone. He ate as much as he could before resting his head on the table again, "I feel exhausted..." He told her.

Kirah had just finished, and and walked back over to him, kneeling beside him. She rubbed his shoulder with her hand, and sighed. Then, she prayed over him. "Dear Lord, please help Robert... he's so stressed, and he really needs your comfort and love right now..." She continued on for a few more minutes, before she finally ended the prayer, and hugged him without a word.

Robert kissed her and hugged her back before getting up, "I need to go to bed...I'll see you tomorrow okay?" He kissed her again and held her in his arms, he was so tired he wasn't sure if he could stay up much longer.

Kirah smiled lovingly, and walked him to his room, where she laid him on his bed, and covered him up. She gave him a kiss, and whispered her love for him in his ear before running off to bed herself.
